super nice, supportive, and really quick to help out

Amazing experience! The cabin, meals, excursions, views, and crew were all top-notch!

The trips were super informative and engaging, striking a nice balance between coach time and walking. The staff were top-notch; they went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. They were incredibly knowledgeable, and if they didn’t have an answer, they made sure to find one for us. The tour manager was excellent—firm but not overbearing.

However, we were a bit let down by the 'entertainment.' I get that EU regulations made it tricky for a native English speaker to be on board, but the duo just didn’t bring the energy. They tried to spice things up by calling each evening something different, but it felt like the same old routine. The quizzes were pretty repetitive and didn’t offer much variety. In the past, APT cruises had fun activities like candle making and other guest entertainers, but one of the highlights this time was napkin folding with the catering team!

On the bright side, the two outside acts were fantastic, and dancing with the crew was a blast.

Wow. What an incredible holiday experience! There were 49 folks on the trip, and honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. We were taken care of from beginning to end. Nothing was too much hassle for them. The crew was always super friendly. The service was top-notch from everyone involved. We explored the canals of Amsterdam, visited the battlefields of the Somme, and checked out the Flood Barriers in Veere, Netherlands. It was both a fantastic and emotional experience at times. The ceremony at Tyne Cot cemetery on Remembrance Day is something I’ll cherish forever.

What an amazing river cruise from beginning to end! Anna, the cruise director, really made the trip special with her fantastic service and keen attention to detail, always putting customers first. The food, service, and quality of the excursions and guides were genuinely top-notch. This was the best river cruise I've ever experienced.

The Polaris cruise ship, along with the Vega that we enjoyed before, are outstanding vessels boasting high standards, a friendly and efficient crew, and cleanliness that’s top-tier. The ports we visited and the excursions offered were quite impressive.

Everything was organized perfectly, the place we stayed was top-notch, the meals were outstanding, and the crew was super friendly and ready to help. Just one little issue: we could've used more time in Budapest.

This was our second adventure with Travel Marvel, and almost all the little hiccups we faced on our first trip (the inaugural journey of the Vega) were addressed. The cabin was roomy with fantastic beds, and the service was top-notch (we found the fridge super handy). The meals were just as high quality as our previous experience, beautifully presented and served efficiently by cheerful staff. The excursions offered great value, especially the Bratislava trip, which was worth every penny just for the guide! We couldn't find any fault with the travel representative; he was a treasure trove of information and made sure we were always clued in on what to expect for the day. The switch of ships due to low water levels was handled smoothly and felt almost seamless (though the passengers fizz for the new captain's welcome was overlooked!). We definitely plan to book with Travel Marvel again.

The river journey through the Balkans was fantastic. The vessel was super comfy, and the crew was incredibly attentive, friendly, and ready to help; nothing felt like too much hassle. The meals were top-notch. The excursions were well-selected, but honestly, we got hit with a ton of history that was hard to keep track of; a bit of free time would’ve been nice. Overall, it was a splendid vacation.

Had a great experience, with a super friendly crew. Daily cleaning was quite thorough, and the food was really good. There were a couple of small hiccups, like the Internet being a bit slow and the coffee from the machine not being the best. Our trip got moved around last minute because of the river's water level, but the backup plan turned out just fine.

This boat is super comfy but not over the top. The range of food options and service was top-notch. The additional excursions were priced fairly, and the ones included were diverse and engaging. Every staff member was effective and friendly.

The all-inclusive experience went above and beyond what we thought it would be. The food was fantastic, and they really cared about what we needed. Our cruise director was on top of things, ensuring we didn’t miss any of the amazing sights. The variety of local tours included had some top-notch guides. We picked up a ton of knowledge in just a little while. Plus, the weather was even nicer than we had hoped for most of the trip.

The team was fantastic and quick to respond to requests. Most of the excursions were enjoyable as well. However, the meal on the first trip that included lunch didn’t quite meet APT’s usual quality. My main concern, where I think there’s room for improvement, was on the final day. There were loads of guests wandering around the ship, but only two restrooms available. How about designating 3 or 4 cabins for guests to use, so they don’t have to deal with the hassle of waiting in line?

We were really struck by how detailed the tour director's daily briefings were throughout the entire two weeks of the Western Front Explorer. The local guides had a wealth of knowledge about their areas, and we were quite pleased with the food options, the staff's friendliness, and the nightly musical entertainment. APT did a fantastic job selecting the river and canal routes, as well as the sites to see in the Netherlands, and the battlefield excursions to Belgium and France were top-notch.
